Get more info about Windows Update. When the Windows 10 Update aka Windows 10, version 22H2 is ready for your device, it will be available to download from the Windows Update page in Settings. Choose a time that works best for you to download the update. You’ll then need to restart your device and complete the installation. After that, your device will be running Windows 10, version 22H2.

To check whether you’re already running the Windows 10 Update, select View update history on the Windows Update settings page. If updates are available, install them. If version 22H2 isn’t offered automatically through Check for updates , you can get it manually through the Windows Update Assistant. If you’re warned by Windows Update that you don’t have enough space on your device to install the update, see Free up space for Windows updates. Resolution: This issue was resolved in updates released December 13, KB and later.

We recommend you install the latest security update for your device. It contains important improvements and issue resolutions, including this one. If you are using an update released before December 13, , and have this issue, you can resolve it by installing and configuring the special Group Policy listed below. Important: You will need to install and configure the Group Policy for your version of Windows to resolve this issue.

Re-using the account was blocked by security policy. This issue originates with the October security updates KB which introduced some hardening changes enabled by default for domain join. Please see KB – Netjoin: Domain join hardening changes to understand the new designed behavior. Affected scenarios include some domain join or re-imaging operations where a computer account was created or pre-staged by a different identity than the identity used to join or re-join the computer to the domain.

This guidance will be updated once those changes have released. When attempting to install KB , it might fail to install, and you might receive an error 0xf Note: This issue only affects the Security update for Secure Boot DBX KB and does not affect the latest cumulative security updates, monthly rollups, or security only updates.

Workaround: This issue can be mitigated on some devices by updating the UEFI bios to the latest version before attempting to install KB Windows 10, version 21H2 feature updates are installed annually using the General Availability Channel. It was available to Windows Insiders, and is now available to everyone.

These settings are available in Microsoft Intune in the Settings Catalog. Group Policy analytics also includes these GPOs in its analysis. This applies to the following editions: Home, Pro, Pro Education, Pro for Workstations Important Beginning with Windows 10, version 21H2 the Windows 10 November Update , feature updates will be released annually in the second half of the year via the General Availability Channel.

Note Unless deferred, subsequent Windows 10 feature updates may be installed prior to the listed end of Mainstream Support date.
