Which DAW to use with Digi ? – replace.me.

I have been reading this issue all over the internet. Trying to find a solution to make my dinosaur Digi work with this system. I am almost convinced that I had to buy new interface. We currently use 8 mono ins and the stereo master out. Has anyone got any ideas? Next, I mounted the Pro Tools 11 disk image and dragged the application to my applications folder the new way to install. I followed that with the all of the applicable plug-in installers from the Avid Plug-Ins 11 update.
