If the installation fails with an error message, it is likely that you either downloaded the incorrect version for your PC or have a later update.

To check your current Windows 10 update version, search winver , and open the app. If your Windows version shows that you have an update later than 21h1, follow the steps in the next section to install the latest Windows 10 update instead. Wait for the first stage of the installation to complete.
