I couldn’t find an applicable solution to this problem, so once I figure it out, I thought I’d publish my resolution in case it helps anyone else. The issue is that the provider is a bit provider and I was trying to run the script in the bit version of Powershell ISE.

The bit ACE installer will generate an error pointing out that you cannot install the bit driver with the bit version of office.
