Having trouble downloading Logic Pro X sound library – replace.me – All replies

And if there isn’t enough space for the Logic content, then you also have too little free space on your system disk to begin with. There should be a minimum of 50 GB of free space on your system disk at all times in order for your system to be running smoothly. So if I were you I’d move your movies and photo’s or whatever is eating up your disk space to a bigger external disk first.

So copy them over, and after copying delete the originals. And also, once you get Logic running, save your finished projects to an external disk, only keep the projects you are working on, on your system disk.

I have a 5TB external hard drive. Nothing is eating it. This is where I can relocate the sound library. Feb 25, AM. Second, the Sound Library is still located on the local drive which doesn’t have enough free space to do anything useful. Feb 25, PM. I relocated it to the hard drive before and was working for a while.

Then it just stopped connecting to the sound library. Feb 26, AM. You relocated the Sound Library on the external drive. There was a problem connecting to that drive and then you reset the Library location to the local drive. Since you didn’t use the Relocate Sound Library command to put the Library back on the local drive, you still have a copy of the Library on the external drive. The simple solution is to delete the Library on the external drive.
